Fletcher and Jan Jamieson made their dream come true, to live on their own small farm on the R62, outside Montagu on the way to Barrydale. For many years Jan Jamieson is involved in all sorts of homecraft, she loves painting and leather work. When she felt  Alpaca wool in her hands the first time, she was impressed by the natural beauty of Alpaca fibre. She fell in love with this fine product with its silky sheen and softness, and as well in love with these gentle creatures. For her Novello Alpaca Farm is the basis of Alpaca wool production and her shop “The Fleece Shed”. Jan is currently involved in a partnership with “Human Touch”, Montagu, They spin yarn using Alpaca fibre blended with Tussah Silk. Have a look at the beautiful Alpaca fibre products.
